Building Your Circle
Feb 15, 2026
I lost friends on my way up. That's not a flex. It's just the truth. When you start changing your habits, your standards, and your priorities, some people won't come with you. And that's okay.
The people around you set the temperature of your life. If everyone in your circle is comfortable, you'll get comfortable. If everyone is growing, pushing, and holding each other accountable, you'll rise to that level.
I'm not saying cut people off coldly. But be intentional about who gets your time. Time is the most valuable thing you have. You're not going to get today back. So spend it with people who challenge you, support you, and tell you the truth even when it's uncomfortable.
Building a strong circle also means being the kind of person others want in their circle. Show up for people. Keep your word. Celebrate their wins like they're your own. Give honest feedback with love. Be the friend you wish you had.
Look at the five people you talk to the most. Are they where you want to be? Are they pushing you or pulling you back? That answer will tell you a lot about where you're headed.
